I'd really like to get this problem licked otherwise I'm going to have to look for an alternative to AnyDesk. But, that's only for a few days, and then it goes back to Idaho. The problem is this computer is located 1000 miles away and sometimes nobody is available to accept it. Right now I have the luxury of having the misbehaving computer here in my California office. However, every single time it says 'Please wait for the remote side to accept your session request.' Once someone accepts it, I can do everything just fine. Both are running macOS Big Sur (though it seems that the working one hasn't been updated to the latest and greatest version). The working machine is a Late 2018 Intel-based Mac Mini while the one that isn't working is Late 2020 M1 Mac Mini. I have checked all my settings as compared to another computer located within the same remote building which I am able to remotely connect to just fine. But, it's still asking me to wait for a manual authentication on the other end. I set up a password for unattended access, killed AnyDesk, and then restarted it. However, every single time it says "Please wait for the remote side to accept your session request." Once someone accepts it, I can do everything just fine. I have a Late 2020 M1 Mac Mini running macOS Big Sur. Already existing tokens will remain in this case, but no new tokens can be accepted.Got a real pain I'm trying to figure out.
You can disable the feature to allow login information (the password) by unticking the Checkbox. This is useful if you entered a password on another client, but this client does not know the password itself. Changing the password to the same password will also invalidate all tokens. You can revoke the permission to connect to a desktop at any time in the security tab by either disabling unattended access or resetting the tokens. There is no way to get access to your password in clear text, even if someone should get full access to a client which has enabled the feature. A client can only get authorization if the correct password was entered there once. This token can only be used by an authorized client. Instead, the remote machine generates a specific token. This feature does not save the password itself. Remember to also change your password since users who stored your password will still have access.Īnydesk Accept Connections Automatically Security Considerations Anydesk Accept. You can clear the Tokens List by clicking: Clear all Tokens Other clients who could connect automatically will now be asked to type the unattended password again. The Tokens substitute the password and are stored encrypted on both client sides.
This feature will only work if the other client has this feature enabled!. You will not be asked to enter this password in subequent session requests for this client. Check Login automatically from now on and enter the password.
